The Data Science & AI Community Innovation Scholars program, sponsored through a generous gift from H-E-B, is a collaborative effort by the UTSA School of Data Science and United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. This initiative empowers undergraduate students from all disciplines to elevate their academic success, career readiness, and contribute to the community impact of San Antonio nonprofits through the application of data science and AI methods.

H-E-B's and UTSA's shared vision of strengthening and diversifying the San Antonio economy and STEM opportunities has inspired the 10-week program that focuses on data science, analytics, and AI. Students will help increase local non-profits' organizational efficiencies, fundraising capabilities, and community impact by leveraging collected data and using it to its full potential.
